Beneath the starry sky,
Beneath the twinkling eyes of night;
He cast a star upon the ground;
He cast his eyes upon the light.
The light bared sparkling tears;
The light exposed his tragic haste
To stop the sparked catastrophe,
To stop the tragedy he faced.
He faced the cornerstone;
He faced the wrathful gods to dare.
He called the corners of the round;
He called the gods to hear his prayer.
His prayer beseeched their grace;
His prayer among the stars did drown,
For the graceless gods cared little
For the star that he'd cast down.

I really like the third stanza.
Not sure on the final one but it does wrap it up well.
Brilliant rhythm
